I have had a love for Asian food since I was a child living in Singapore and Sushi is up there as one of my favourites! I recently visited Moshi restaurant in Al Barsha, who make out of this world Sushi, flavours on a whole other level and gold medal for creativity – a must try for Sushi lovers!!

Their branch in Al Barsha is super cute and reminds me of restaurants in London, tables with a great street view. The manager was really lovely and very knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu which serves a great selection of veg and non veg options for all. We tried a great variety of different dishes and it was my first time trying Momos, which I had heard a lot about. Moshi have some great promos, especially for all the sneaker heads, their #SneakySushiSundays – anyone visiting the restaurant on a Sunday wearing sneakers gets 10% off their bill. On a Monday they have #MoshiMondayMadness where you can order unlimited lemonade, maki and momos for AED 89 per person.

For more info visit their Instagram page or Zomato.

We started our meal with a very refreshing and delicious Strawberry Mojito and we finished our meal with Moshi’s signature Lotus Milkshake, which was the best milkshake I had ever had, a must try!

If you are a fan of edamame then you have to try their Sriracha edamame, cooked with butter its so soft and the chilli sauce gives it a good kick, an amazing mix of flavours.

There were so many great sushi choices to choose from on the menu, some completely unique and creative which I was really interested to try and absolutely loved (perfect for the adventurous foodie). The first platter we had we ordered Flamin Chicken Cheetos – which is a genius creation with Cheetos and goes so well together, Volcano roll – which has dynamite shrimp on the top YUM and Moshi Dynamite Maki – great for the fish lovers a delicious combination. The second platter we ordered had some really wow factors, the Falafel Nigri just blew my mind as who would have thought to make an Arabic inspired sushi and it was just amazing with the Tahini sauce, the Chips Oman rolls were another crazy concept which had really been perfected for all the flavours and the Salmon California was super yummy, loved it!

It was my first time trying momos and I tried them in every possible way – fried, steamed and grilled loved the cheese and spinach ones but they also have chicken for the meat lovers. The sesame sauce was really good too.

Sashimi and Noodles

Salmon Sashimi is my favourite and it was super fresh, but there is also Tuna and Yellow Tail available on the menu. Loved their prawn noodles, great flavour and mix of vegetables and their signature Moshi sauce went together with the noodles perfectly.

Who would have thought that you could even make sushi into a dessert, well Moshi certainly came up with every chocolate lovers dream for sushi, their Nutella Maki (rolled dough). Again another creation out of this world, super yummy and a must try as well as their Peanut Butter Bars.
