Brunch is a part of many Dubai weekends and its great to find amazing new places offering something different. Bazxar the coolest new restaurant to hit DIFC offering a cuisine fusion of Asian, Mediterranean, American, and Latin American flavours. Literally a mix for everyone and anyone, plus the interiors are absolutely gorgeous. Their Prohibition Friday Brunch is a must, expect a Gatsby inspired party!
From the minute you walk into Bazxar the interiors really catch your attention, there is so much to see, its a beautiful mix of colour, materials and decorations! The staff are really nice and fun and very attentive as the way the brunch works is that you choose a number of starters, entrees and then one main course and dessert platter. It was a complete journey of cuisine and I absolutely loved it!! An amazing concept with great vibes and music from their resident DJ, and if you love hip hop then this brunch is made for you.
Starting at 2pm till 5pm there are three different price options- AED 295 includes mocktails and soft drinks, AED 395 includes house wines, spirits, cocktails and soft drinks, AED 495 includes rose, beers, house wines, spirits, cocktails and soft drinks. For more information check out their menu here.
Loved the selection of starters and entrees, my favourites were the fried mac and cheese and the shrimp popcorn (if you love fried food then indulge). On the Asian side the Chicken Bao and Black Pepper Beef Noodles were delish! If your more into Italian food then you must try the Buratta and Roast Chicken Pizzas, the bread was so yummy and fresh. There are so many great dishes to also choose from for main course, I love a bit of Latin American food so I tried the Huevos Rancheros, really like no dish I had tried before. It consisted of fried egg, black beans, guacamole, cheese and salsa all sitting on top of a tortilla, an amazing mix of flavours! If your a burger lover then make sure you have their Butter Milk Fried Chicken Burger, it literally melts in your mouth and Bazxar definitely know how to make one. The dessert platter is the perfect size after all those courses, the mini freakshakes are sooo good.
If your looking for the soft drinks package then its full of delicious juices, the watermelon juice was really nice. On the cocktail side the Last Tango is great with a mix of rum as well as the Cosmos. Make sure to stick around till the end at 5pm as there is a really nice finale of free shots and sparklers, be prepared for shots, shots, shots by LMFAO too Happy Brunching!
